# Legal form

As a collective we've been evolving the legal form since we started our activity back in 2014. From an informal group of freelancers, through a SCP (legal group of freelancers), we are now a non-profit cooperative of associated work.

There is [plenty of information](https://www.ica.coop/en) about the nature of coops as organising entities, but in a nutshell their are based on the following principles:

* Voluntary and Open Membership
* Democratic Member Control
* Member Economic Participation
* Autonomy and Independence
* Education, Training, and Information
* Cooperation among Cooperatives
* Concern for Community
