Who we work with
This may serve to guide our business development activities while interacting and setting new projects with potential partners or clients
We strive to work with organizations we share purpose with and are leading the way towards planetary societies
Criteria around shared purpose
They must follow at least one of the following:
Statement of intention in their communication materials and ideology (if available)
Operating in the frames of the Social and Solidarity Economy
ISO 14001 and similar
EMAS and other eco certificates
They have a clear social and environmental strategy aligned to the Sustainable Development Goals.
They must follow at least two of the following:
Workers have rights according to the UN Global Compact.
Are cooperatives, social business (UK), B corps, foundations, non-profit.
Income inequality is not wider than 1/7 within the organization
We make sure of this through:
Basic google research
Ask trusted contacts
If they are part of trusted networks (ESS, Bcorps, etc)
Up to this characteristics compliance is mandatory for organisations who we proactively set contact with.
Criteria when in doubt of shared purpose
In case an organisation approaches us for the first time and/or we are not sure of the first set of criteria exposed above, they must follow at least two of the following:
We have to work with them with strategic departments, and our concrete project offering shall be based on what we are aware is the leading edge regarding transitions in their sector or domain.
To have made substantial progress and moves towards SDG in the last 5 years
They do not belong to a capital concentration group operating under monopolistic logics
We make sure of this through an advice process on slack #proposal_team_making focusing on questions such as:
How we feel about it our impact?
Do we trust the project lead (contact person)?
In order to communicate publicly the project from both parties once is finished we will asses the above criteria after the completion of the first collaboration.
We won't work with organisations who:
Belong or are related to military industries, illegal drugs, sex and slave trafficking industries
Have legal processes against them or there is robust independent evidence yet to be legally processed.
Pay their taxes via tax havens
